In organizations across the city there will be a new crop of interns entering our workplaces, ready to learn and begin their professional journey in the world of work. Interns can be invaluable to organizations when a clear plan is set that maximizes their skills and creativity with the challenges and programming offered at the organization. We will be kicking off our Fall training series with a training on learning how to effectively utilize interns for the benefit of your organization and make them a lasting advocate for the work you do. - Tools will be provided to ensure you are maximizing the potential of interns.
- Discuss strategies to make the workplace an environment where interns thrive.
- Develop an action plan for supervising your incoming interns or for exploring the potential of utilizing interns within your organization.
Payment Info: The $10 fee is payable the day of the training via cash, check, or credit/debit card. There is a $0.25 charge if you’re using a credit or debit card.
Parking Info: There is a free parking lot located on the south side of the building (entrance is off of North Street). It fills up fast so arrive by 8:45 a.m. if you want a spot. Limited 2-hour street parking is also available around the building. You can also park in the Murat for $5.00 (entrance located on Alabama Street).
